In 2018 Daniel donated equipment and time to Air Force JROTC High School Students through the Cyber Patriot program contributing to Moanaloa High School placing 3rd in the state of Hawaii for the year.

Daniel is an active member of the local community through his Church.

Starting in 2009 Daniel has been in Ministry Training through New Beginnings International Christian Center (NBICC) and in 2010 was licensed as a Minister by Bishop Maurice L. Irvin. Since then Daniel has been afforded the honor to teach Leader's and Men's Groups, Children's Groups, and Adult Bible Studies in Okinawa, Afghanistan, Manhattan, KS, and at Living the Word Ministries in Honolulu, HI on a regular basis.

Daniel has been able to benefit the community improving network infrastructure, providing free Tier 1 user support, wireless surveys and installations, and IT network security auditing.

Daniel has also extended volunteer service to coach a few basketball teams, complete with custom made jerseys and warm up suits!

In 2006, Daniel was named the 1st Cavalry Division Non-Commissioned (NCO) Officer of the Year. During this process he was selected to throw the first pitch of a Texas Ranger game to commemorate the Army's birthday!
